"Improbabile is in four movements, titled "L'Alba," "Lontano," "Entre um Tango e uma Valsa," and "Tarantella" lasting a total of about sixteen minutes. Most of the trombone part is in tenor clef, and the player needs a firm command of soft dynamics in the high register, as well as control of the low and high register.
